We provide information, care and support to those affected by Thyroid Eye Disease (TED).
TEDct was founded in 1990 and gained charitable trust status in 2002. It aims not only to create greater awareness of Thyroid Eye Disease, but also to inform and support those affected by the disease.
What we do
TEDct provides the opportunity for those affected by TED to receive support and all of the latest medical information from our newsletter, Q&As and other resources. We organise Patient Information Meetings and fundraising events, and also participate in appropriate medical conferences.
Who we are
TEDct is run entirely by volunteers. About half of our volunteers are medical professionals, from endocrinologists, to oculo-plastic surgeons, ophthalmic surgeons, and research scientists. The rest of our volunteers are people whose lives have been affected by TED, both directly and indirectly.
